Vegan Twix Bars


Twix used to be my favorites. And so I made vegan ones. They're delicious and SO gooey.

INGREDIENTS;

About 100 grams of Digestive cookies
50 Grams of Non-Dairy Butter
Vegan Caramel Sauce, homemade or store bought
100 Grams of Dark Chocolate
1 Tsp of Coconut Oil

For homemade caramel sauce;

1 DL of Sugar
1 DL of Syrup
1 DL Non-Dairy Milk
2 Tbsp of Non-Dairy Butter
DIRECTIONS; 

1. Prepare a baking tin. Crush the digestives and add in the butter until combined. Push the digestive crumbles into the baking tin and let cool in the fridge while you prepare the caramel sauce.

2.  Make the caramel sauce. Mix together all of the ingredients except for butter in a sauce pan and let it boil and bubble for about 10 minutes, then add in the butter and stir it in. Set aside to cool.

3. Once the caramel is cool, put it on top of the digestive crust, place in the fridge until hardened a bit, or freezer for it to go quicker. 

4. Once the caramel is almost solid you can melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and place on top of the caramel, then put in the fridge for a little while for the chocolate to get solid.

5. Slice and enjoy!
