Vegan Apple Crumble Caramel Cake

Cake is better with crumble, I swear. And apples are better with caramel. So this cake is DIVINE, just trust me. Perfect on a chilly autumn day!

INGREDIENTS;

For the cake;
100 Grams of Non-Diary Butter or Oil
1 DL of Sugar
1 Tsp of Vanilla
4 DL (250 Grams) of Flour
2 Tsps of Baking Powder
1,2 DL (125 ML) of Non-Dairy Milk
2-3 Apples
Cinnamon (optional)
Cardamom (Optional)

For the crumble topping;
1 DL (100 grams) of Flour
1 DL (100 grams) of Sugar
About 75 Grams of Non-Dairy Butter
For homemade caramel sauce;
1 DL of Sugar
1 DL of Syrup
1 DL Non-Dairy Milk
2 Tbsp of Non-Dairy Butter

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius.

2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together before adding in the wet ones. Put the batter into a baking tin and chop the apples and top the batter with the apples.

3. Make the crumble. Mix all of the ingredients together and then crumble on top of the apples on the batter. Top with cinnamon.

4. Bake for about 30-45 minutes.  Top with caramel sauce. To make the caramel sauce mix together all of the ingredients except for butter in a sauce pan and let it boil and bubble for about 10 minutes, then add in the butter and stir it in. Set aside to cool.

5. Enjoy!
