Vegan Apple Caramel Spring Rolls


THESE ARE SO GOOD. I love spring rolls, and sweet ones are even better. Easy and delicious!


INGREDIENTS;
One package of phyllo dough.
3-4 Apples
Caramel Sauce, store bought or homemade
Non Dairy Butter
Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
Cardamom (optional)
For homemade caramel sauce;
1 DL of Sugar
1 DL of Syrup
1 DL Non-Dairy Milk
2 Tbsp of Non-Dairy Butter

DIRECTIONS;

1. 2.  Make the caramel sauce. Mix together all of the ingredients except for butter in a sauce pan and let it boil and bubble for about 10 minutes, then add in the butter and stir it in. Set aside to cool.

2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celcius.

2. Put one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush on melted butter, than place another sheet of phyllo on top of the other one.and brush melted butter. Do this 4 times and then cut into 4 squares.

3. Cut an apple in pieces and toss  in some brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom. Add the apple filling in the corner off one square  and drizzle some caramel sauce and fold the edge over the apples, then the other edges and then roll them up. 

4. Bake for about 15-30 minutes, until golden.

5. Enjoy with ice cream!
